Strategy and Implementation Summary
The Root Center will focus on constructing a greenhouse/operations center to grow organic produce for local food banks using sustainable, cost-efficient, clean energy techniques supported by our other primary program. The other primary program will be the creation of educational outreach programs based on green building, alternative energy and nutrition. The Root Center will advertise its services to the target population groups through the agencies that serve these groups on a daily basis (food banks, Campaign to End Childhood Hunger, etc.) These programs will be energized by The Root Center’s use of sustainable technology, green building, and clean energy as a hands-on learning center for those wishing to cut energy costs while improving their environment.
